Around 25,000 homes in southeastern Queensland woke up experiencing outages on Monday's dawn after intense storm systems impacted the region, bringing strong winds reaching 109 kilometers per hour.

Substantial Frozen Precipitation and Broad Destruction

Locals observed substantial frozen pellets reaching sizes of seven centimeters in particular locations. Weather authorities announced that multiple regions across the state had been hit with significant hail.
