Passionate followers of the actress are urging that a person who leaped a barrier and seized the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or removed from Singapore.

A widely shared video shows the Australian man shoving aside photographers and charging at Grande while the cast proceeded down a yellow carpet surrounded by fans.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being arrested", though official papers indicated that he was scheduled to attend court on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was charged.

Pattern of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a concert or event. His Instagram feed includes videos of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney performance in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the city last year.

"There needs to be action applied against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen posted of his act.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" a different Instagram user remarked.

Followers Voice Worry Over Grande's Well-being

Several fans criticized Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed experiencing PTSD after a devastating incident at the end of her May 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and wounding many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" said another message on Instagram.

Some supporters also questioned security officers at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals requested digital services to remove Mr Wen's content.

Response and Premiere Information

In clips circulating online, Grande looked surprised when she was approached by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen reassuring her while Mr Wen was escorted away by security.

Grande has not issued a statement on the incident, and the premiere activities continued without further issues.
