The London and Paris have signed a memorandum of understanding concerning the deployment of armed personnel in Ukraine should a ceasefire be concluded with Moscow, the Prime Minister of Britain, Keir Starmer, has declared.
Subsequent to negotiations with allied nations in Paris, he indicated that the UK and France would "establish military hubs across Ukraine and construct protected structures for weapons and equipment" to prevent any subsequent incursion.

Recently, he indicated a peace deal was "largely prepared". Finalizing the remaining 10% would "determine the outcome of the peace, the destiny of Ukraine and Europe".
Russia currently controls about 75% of the Donetsk region and some 99% of the adjacent Luhansk region. The two regions form the industrial region of Donbas.
